Nov. 19, 2026 marked the “Power of Rural” on National Rural Health Day. Established in 2011, this day calls attention to and honors the efforts of rural healthcare providers, communities, and organizations. Amy Snow, PA-C, Founder of Project Happy Face, a group that provides free acne care and skin care products to teens in Bend, OR, spent the day performing acne checks on residents from two rural towns in Oregon, including a high school with just 48 kids.
